Pixel by Pixel - Episode 91 - Waiting for the Other Clue to Drop

Listen Later

Pixel by Pixel is a weekly podcast about video games (most of the time) and...other things. It's hosted by Patrick Dees (@ptothedees),  Nick Long (@Nick_Long), Matt Ryan(@LaughinMan7), and Evan Endicott (@NotoriousEJE).

Friend of the show Dave "Dark Souls" Klein is back in studio with Evan and Patrick this week.

We catch up a little with Dave, spit mad game about rap and rap inspired films, and Patrick gushes about his RTX 2015 experience and the incredible people he met in Austin.

Gamescom is fresh in our minds and we rave about how dope Rise of the Tomb Raider looks, are trepidatious about Quantum Break, and as expected Dave looks for literally any reason to compare all of the above to his one true love - Dark Souls.

Wrapping up the first segment Patrick has played Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and had his life changed for the better by finally completing Journey.

After the break we hit some long over due listener questions - How have our gaming habits changed over the years?  Is the Playstation Plus Model a good one for Rocket League?  What about other Devs?

As always- our listeners are unparalleled.  The questions of late have been beyond rad.  We can not thank you enough. Please keep them coming at [email protected]

Games Discussed:  Everybody’s gone to the Rapture, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Ori and the Blind Forest, Quantum Break, Crackdown, Journey, Rocket League, Last of Us, GTA V and of course Shadow Complex.  Oh, and Dark Souls.  Did someone say Dark Souls?  No?  Let's talk about it any way.  Dark Souls.  Dark Souls...
