We’re back after being entrapped in the inescapable room, well maybe we’re exaggerating a little, but we did make it through our first Escape Room!  With time to spare (so it got snuck into this podcast) Ashley and Anthony went to Escapism Puzzle Room and lived to tell the spoiler-free tale.

You can’t fill up a podcast just talking vaguely about an awesome adventure though, so this week Two Geeks gives you their review of LEGO Dimensions!  Listen in as Ashley gushes and Anthony translates that into constructive criticism of the newest entry to the Mini-Fig gaming genre.

Greetings glorious geeks!

This week’s podcast is a big one, clocking in well over our normal 30 min goal, but our talk today could not be constrained or rushed into half an hour.  Last week while at Gateway 2015 we were faced with sexism in a very direct way and we want to talk about it with our audience.  We won’t let bigotry go unnoticed and leave victims feeling alone.  We want to see our beautiful and amazing geek community unite and banish this kind of ignorance from the world.  By telling our story on this podcast we hope to educate and inspire others to stand side by side with their fellow human beings and defend each other from hatred.  Buckle up, this one’s gonna get heavy.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you again to Anthony at Zombiesmith Miniatures for being a great human being and a hero when someone needed him.  If you’re a fan a minatures then check out Zombiesmith and know that you’re dealing with truly good people.

We’re a little late, BUT WE’RE BACK!

After a turbulent month these Two Geeks are back in action recounting their tales of a Magical Kingdom where they Toured the Stars, met amazing talking animals, and celebrated their birthdays! It wasn’t all mouse ears and rainbows though as a couple dark clouds loomed over head… we’re fine though.

This week we also get into the element of competition at the game table and life to see if it’s a good thing to have or not and how it doesn’t matter what game you play, it’s always more fun with other people.

Last week at Gam3rCon was host to the VERY FIRST Two geeks and a Podcast panel where Ashley offered up her experience on getting into Tabletop.  Joined by Gam3rCon’s C.O.O. Brendan MacNeil and moderated by Anthony, the three geeks get into what Tabletop is and how it can mean different things to different people and where people can begin.  Listen in and Ashley and Brendan talk everything from Shoots and Ladders to Netrunner, all while Anthony throws candy into the audience!
