This gentleman has a lot to be happy about in 2020, as he was the man behind the boards alongside J57 for a majority of the standout joints the brand new JAMO GANG album, “Walking With Lions”. If that ain’t enough he launched MORDELLA MUSIC LIBRARY at the top of this year, which provides authentic samples and compositions for the producer community. We got PJ on the horn as well as the homie J57 to talk about the making of the new Jamo Gang LP, why they owe EL GANT & DEEJAY ELEMENT everything for connecting the two of them and what it means to PJ to be a part of an album that includes the likes of RAS KASS, DJ PREMIER, SLUG of ATMOSPHERE, SID WILSON from SLIPKNOT, SICK JACKEN of PSYCHO REALM & SLAINE from LA COKA NOSTRA. We also get into some history goodness as PJ breaks down how his father’s penchant for jazz influenced him growing up, making pause tapes after he caught the hip-hop bug and how both of those things led him down the road of getting into production.
