This episode is actually my final presentation for my Masters Class on Christian Formation through Northwest University. Take some time to listen as we dive into how spiritual disciplines and suffering can lead us into in depth spiritual formation in a way few other things can! That in mind, this episode is a little bit more academic in nature and delivery than my normal. Nonetheless - hope you enjoy!

Not only is the sabbath and rest part of the 10 commandments, it is also exemplified and encouraged by Jesus. As we look at the biblical foundation for how we are to prioritize our lives and manage our commitments we must, as followers of Jesus, create space for rest! Person to person the rhythms of rest may look different but we all ought to have daily, weekly, monthly and annual patters and commitments where we make time for rest and relationship with God. Join us for Episode 4 as we dive into these thoughts with a bit more depth.

We must bring our worries and our struggles to the foot of the cross to allow God the space in our lives to give us what we need to endure. Join us for Episode 3 as we dive into how weakness and suffering are necessary for our spiritual formation.
