Today we speak with a really talented casting director and an absolute lover of film David Guglielmo. David is a jack of many trades, casting just happens to be one he’s quite good at. While casting he also Directs, writes, and produces. Even referring to himself as a casting producer sometimes. David has worked with a lot of great casting directors as an associate and assistant as well as casting a fair few movies you can see now with nearly ten in various forms of production. We talk about some of his movies like The Standoff at Sparrow Creek which I loved, Hospitality which he co-directed, the horror-comedy Satanic Panic, and the modern grindhouse VFW.
Today we speak with a wonderful casting director and such a sincere human being, Stephanie Klapper. Stephanie is based out of NY and has worked on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally, internationally, on television, and on film. Projects she has cast have won numerous awards, including the Tonys, OBIES, Artios, Pulitzer Prize, Sundance Audience Award, Cannes Prize Du Publique, and Comic Con awards.
Today we get to chat with multiple time nominee and Artios Award winner, Susan Shopmaker. Susan is awesome. With over 20 years of feature film casting experience, she’s worked on projects like John Cameron Mitchell’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch, 2016’s Imperium, 2003’s Party Monster, John Slattery's God's Pocket, 2007’s Enchanted, Frank & Lola, Andrew Neel's King Kelly & Goat, and Michel Franco’s Chronic, a Cannes Award Winner & Spirit Award Nominee, just to name a few.
Today we chat with Casting Director Jeff Greenberg. the world and were seemingly brought together by fate. Jeff is one of those rare people born and raised in LA. He also happened to grow up obsessed with being an actor and came into casting naturally working in the theater. Decades later he’s cast on everything from Cheers, Fraiser, Wings, Ugly Betty, News Radio, My So-Called Life, and a ton more.

Her early career working at Zoetrope lead to collaborations like that of her and her partner at The Casting Company Janet Hirshenson. Jane worked on movies like The Princess Bride, A Beautiful Mind, Beetlejuice, Dune, Apollo 13, Mrs. Doubtfire, Ghost, Hook, Ferris Beuller’s Day Off, Labyrinth, Willow, and a whole lot more.
