In our never-ending Beatles Quest to share Beatle-y stuff you've never heard, we bet you'll hear a thing or two for the first time on Beatles Hour # 75...

Before many British musicians became household names, they were in other bands during the British Music Invasion years of 1963 to 1966. Here are 20 songs by British musicians such as David Bowie, Ian Gillan, Dave Mason, Lemmy from Motorhead, Mike D'Abo, Ian Hunter, Alan White, and many others. Host Steve Ludwig tells us what groups they were in before they became famous, and then he'll play a relatively unknown song from that early band. Twenty songs in sixty minutes! You'll be surprised at some of what you hear!

John Lennon Covers The Ronette's "Be My Baby." John's studio version of "be My Baby" was done so with very slow, almost dirge-like, vocals. Steve Ludwig has sped-up the vocals by 47%, making the vocals sound more like the speed at which Ronnie Spector sang it. See what you think...Music sacrilege?
