Dr. David Beerling: works as a soil researcher at The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom, is Director of the Leverhulme Centre for Climate Change Mitigation and Sorby Professor of Natural Sciences in the Department of Animal and Plant Sciences at the University of Sheffield, UK. He also is Editor in Chief of the Royal Society journal Biology Letters. He talks about soil sequestration of carbon and specifically spreading rock dust on soil, a process known as enhanced rock weathering.
