This episode was done in two parts. One was recorded before the meeting I had with my son's teacher, so I sound a bit high strung while explaining some of my ideas for my Non-profit organization, The Center for Love and Healing. The second part was recorded 3 days after that meeting and the comfort I felt after finally meeting his teacher and with his principal. Two very strong African American mothers.

I do my best to explain the importance of being connected to a Higher Power and how simply packing Tourmaline instead of Tecs could alter your entire existence. You all are aware that i am back with my children's father. Today it was confirmed that that was probably a rash decision. I do not go to therapy again (yet) so i thank you for listening.

I am proud to say that although my intentions were never to return to this tiny hometown of mine, I am impressed by the businesses that are popping up. And even more proud to say several are black owned. Anyone who knows me knows how important the legacy of people of color is to me.
