Tamworth Regional Council along with the Nundle community have rejected the Hills of Gold Wind Farm development. The Council have written a letter to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment outline their concerns with the project.

In this episode I had the privilege to interview Brooke Southwell who is a candidate for the upcoming TRC election which will be on 4 December. Brooke explains her background and what experience she will bring if elected to Council. Brooke believes that water sustainability is one of the most pressing issues for the Tamworth region and food health should be part of the development process when looking at development consent for retail food outlets.

Tamworth Regional Council to underwrite the John Williamson Statue Committee while they raise funds to have Country Music star John Williamson immortalised as a bronze statue. Councillors head off to the Nation Assembly of Local Government with three notices of motion.
