We all want to live successful and happy lives, but what defines a successful and happy life in our sin-filled world? Is it a big house, the latest car, or a successful career? Do Christians define success the same way non-Christians do? While many consider Joseph to have been successful (going from prison to the palace and then becoming Egypt’s second in command), John the Baptist's story paints a different picture of success. He went from prison to the tomb. In today's lesson, we'll explore what success means within the context of financial principles and stewardship as taught in the Bible.
