Trey dives into the recent controversy about how smart T-Rex was. A new paper by Suzana Herculano Houzel titled "Theropod Dinosaurs had primate like numbers of telencephalic neurons" has started a debate on how we can tell the cleverness of this ancient creature.

Miles looks at the worlds newest - oldest - known sentence.  Found on a ivory comb, it helps give context to the region and the history of writing.

The gang also get side tracked talking about historical art of dicks, and the new Indiana Jones move. So, sorry about that.

Graham Hancock has an idea that history unfolded in a very different way than Archeologists suggest. Long in our past there was an ancient  apocalypse that destroyed an advanced civilization.  He has been writing about this since 1995 to massive popular appeal. His books are perhaps the most widely read on the topic of the ancient world, and he is a frequent guest on the worlds most popular podcast.

This has landed him a hit show on Netflix. Ancient Apocalypse, where he gives a brief overview of his theories.

But the thing is, Archeologists do not agree with his finding one bit. In fact they have a very antagonistic relationship with Handcock's work. A combative relationship he himself embraces.

Trey talks about a new DNA method police are using to search for suspects, but the method itself might be using some suspect science.

Miles's tells the story of an outlandish paper claiming Octopus are aliens, or their evolution was guided by alien genes, or they were created by an alien retro-virus...or something! Also, how the media covered the story.

 Ralph the Movie Maker (Film Maker Ralph Sepe) joins the guys as he watches his first ever Monster Quest.  It's yet another search for Bigfoot, but this time Monster Quest is looking into legends and art in different Native American cultures. Perhaps they saw Bigfoot? Or maybe something else explains art such as the "Hairy Man" at the scared Painted Rock site.

The boys also talk about some of their favorite movies. Trey and Miles have their final debate on the quality of the film "Prometheus" and let Ralph decided once and for all.

The long awaited dinosaur documentary Prehistoric Planet is finally here! The Apple  TV+ show  unveils the spectacular habitats and inhabitants of ancient Earth in an immersive digital experience. Using modern science and CGI, it gives us a possible look at the earth millions of years ago.

Trey and Miles break down the show, the science, and what they thought about the story telling.

Miles also tells the story of the Lord Howe's Island Stick Insect, one of the most amazing discoveries of an extinct species.

Trey talks about some Roman Cheese Cake.

"Coasts": A father Tyrannosaurus and his offspring swim across a perilous seaway to feed on a dead giant turtle. Alcione hatchlings take their first flight through a gauntlet of predatory pterosaurs, Barbaridactylus and Phosphatodraco. Tuarangisaurus travel to a bay in search of gastroliths. A male Mosasaurus hoffmanni is cleaned by reef denizens and defends his territory from a rival. Scaphitid ammonites perform an elaborate mating display. A distressed pregnant Tuarangisaurus is targeted by Kaikaifilu.

"Deserts": Dreadnoughtus males compete for the right to mate. Lizards are hunted by Velociraptor among a group of sleeping Tarbosaurus. A Mononykus forages for termites and investigates new food options after a brief rainstorm. Several types of dinosaurs congregate around a watering hole in Mongolia. Barbaridactylus males compete for females atop a remote plateau. A herd of Secernosaurus brave the harsh gypsum dunes in search of nourishment.

Trey watched Robert Egger's  "The Northman", and goes over how much real world archeology was used to create the film. From the setting to the artifacts used, it all helps to create a classic story grounded (other then the magical parts) in reality.

Miles tells the story of the Lord God Bird. Once North America's most beloved woodpecker, the species was lost, then found again, then lost all over. However, people keep claiming to see this beautiful bird.  Is it really still out there?
