In Minsk today, there is a Presidential election going on. You didn’t know that? The current President is an “authoritarian style leader.” Or, if you prefer, a totalitarian dictator. His opponent is the wife of a jailed YouTube sensation. which explains why the whole place is shut down today. It also raises some questions about what would happen here if the election in November doesn’t go the way some people want it to go? Rodbo’s BEER of the WEEK is best defined as “robust.” Dave heads down his Historical Rabbit Hole that reminds us that all politicians are jerks. Even then one for which his home town is named.
