There’s a lot to want to shout about. I get it. But I encourage you to be as playful as possible at the #NoKings protest tomorrow.

Why? Because play is community-building, attracts bystanders, persuades defectors, and it deescalates law enforcement who have been trained to view protestors as “enemies from within.” It also makes it impossible for a would be tyrant to lie and spread propaganda that smears protestors as rioters and “people who hate America.”

I hope you’re give this podcast a listen and think about how you might bring joy and practice playful resistance with your neighbors tomorrow— and every day.
