Matt Park became the voice of his alma mater back in 2004, having grown up in the Syracuse area as well. The job carries an immense responsibility both to live up the the standards of being a Syracuse guy broadcasting the games at Syracuse, but also to help cultivatge the next generation of broadcasters to come from there. Park talks about the legacy of guys like Mike Tirico, Sean McDonough, Bob Costas, Ian Eagle and how they've always stayed true to the place they call home, helping to grow those to follow them. Dan McLaughlin called his first MLB game at 23. Twenty years later he's still at it with the St. Louis Cardinals and Fox Sports Midwest. Dan talks about working with different partners on air, his style and prep and working with Joe Buck on his first broadcast.
Johnny Holliday is the Voice of the Maryland Terrapins and just an overall really great guy. The former radio DJ has been at UM since 1979 and has called over 1,200 Terps games. But that's just the tip of the iceberg for Holliday. He's also a well known DJ, announcer and actor on screen and stage.
