Play On

It’s never too late to realise your dream and be drafted to play alongside the BITB. In this edition of the Play On pod, Smythy and Ryan interview Simon Dalrymple, National Recruiting Manager for the Swans.

His insights about list build are well worth a listen, and his advice for youngsters (and not so youngsters) aspiring to the elite, is to never stop working hard on your weaknesses. Seems simple, no? So get cracking.

Our hosts also stir up some controversy this week by telling us what is the best regional venue in NSW and the ACT. They also discuss which league is the strongest in our region…we can’t wait to watch the emails roll through about that one ([email protected] if you’re interested).

The guys talk cricket and the draft, which begins next Wednesday!

Keep listening and emailing us your questions.

It’s all about talent this time of year, and Smythy and Ryan have a chat with one of NSW’s best, Alyce Parker. They also hear from two draft hopefuls and dissect who are the best recent draft picks from NSW and the ACT.

The AFL season may have finished but there’s always something to talk about in the best game on earth. Ryan and Smythy unpack trade season, chat socials with Abbey, and talk to former GIANTS star and up and coming coach, Britt Tully.

The team also interviews Michael Barlow, a boundary umpire from Canberra living in Sydney who’s spent nearly 100 days on the road chasing his dream of umpiring a grand final...
