Hey, welcome to the Play Wild Love Learning Be Free podcast!
I'm Kelly, Mummy to 3 home educated children who are currently 11, 7 and 3. I am also the founder of an outdoor, self-directed learning community for home educated children. I am passionate about home education, the importance of play and following our own intrinsic motivations and interests. On this podcast I speak to many home educating parents to give you a good insight into the many different learning styles and philosophies - from radical unschoolers to world schoolers to recreating school at home and following a curriculum and strict time table. I also talk a lot about the importance of play and give you tips on how you can create more opportunities for you and your children to Play Wild Love Learning and Be Free!!

Today I have a great conversation with Katie Bryant, a Military wife who home schools her 4 children (and has one on the way!) They follow curriculums, learn latin, music and horse riding as the foundation of their education. They have a flexible but firm learning style. We also talk about the pressures of home ed and how to cope with the overwhelm.

There is some adult language in this episode, so it's probably best to pop in some ear buds or listen without little ears around. Today I speak to my good friend Tab all about her home educating journey. Tab has 5 children, only one of which is of school age at the moment - her 8 year old daughter. She has a mixed approach to learning, a hybrid of wild schooling, following the Steiner Waldorf curriculum, learning through play and intrinsic motivation.
