Today's starting quarterback is Steven Griffith whose mission in life is to teach us how to finally have that mind-blowing relationship with time. Steven is a nationally recognized author, speaker, researcher, and performance expert, former Chicago Golden Glove Boxer Champion in Illinois Heavyweight nicknamed "The Velvet Hammer," and considered one of the leading authorities on the connection between time, productivity, and performance. Steven worked with organizations such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, the U.S. Military, LAPD, NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL!
Steven Griffith's MVP player Stats:
Steven is always on the field helping us get some of our time back. In his upcoming book with McGraw Hill The Time Cleanse: A Proven System to Eliminate Wasted Time, Realize Your Full Potential, and Reinvest in What Matters Most, Steven provides a strategic and effective approach to changing our relationship to time, allowing you to maximize your Energy, Focus & Performance. His revolutionary 3-step performance process will accelerate your personal productivity and rebalance your work-life relationship while simultaneously improving the quality of both. Based on two decades of experience working with thousands of clients, the Time Cleanse is the world's first "timefulness" solution that both "adds time to your life, and life to your time" while increasing performance, reducing stress, and improving mindfulness.
Steven crushes the common complaint, "I don't have enough time," pointing out that we've been conditioned to be overstimulated multitaskers who always feel under "time pressure." Steven shares strategies to help us break free from this illusion.
Steven traveled to places such as Thailand and Japan, studying mindfulness strategies, neuroscience, and even Einstein's theory of relativity to come up with a solution of how to change the relationship we have with time and how to perform optimally with it. One of his key messages reminds us that time comes from us, that we need to focus on that and be present for it.
Steven also talks about his experience growing up playing football, thinking that's what his success was meant to be. After suffering a series of hamstring injuries, he realized he was in a blind spot and needed to change course if he was going to make a difference in the world. This is considered one of his most life-changing moments that directed him to understand and share his knowledge of time management.

Mark J. Podolsky (AKA The Land Geek) is widely considered the country's most trusted and foremost authority on buying and selling raw, undeveloped land within the United States. He has been actively investing in real estate and raw land since 2001 and has completed over 5,000 unique transactions. Mark's company, Frontier Equity Properties, LLC, is an A+ rated BBB real estate company. Mark has achieved this level of success largely due to his core business philosophy – "Happy Customers Guaranteed." I would add his success also comes from the fact that he chooses to use a treadmill desk. "Sitting is the new smoking!" he reminds us all. Mark is also the host of one of the top rated podcasts in the Investing Category on iTunes aptly titled "The Best Passive Income Model and The Art of Passive Income." As if he wasn't already busy enough, Mark hosts "The Land Geek Podcast- Work Smart. Earn More. Learn How." You can check those out on iTunes and wherever else great listening is enjoyed.
Mark Podolsky's MVP player Stats:
Mark's brilliant and successful business model of buying and selling raw land has gained the interests in many ambitious followers to learn and follow this "sort of gateway drug to a better life style", with passive income.
In this episode, Mark talks about the details of his book Dirt Rich and how the works of passive income drastically made an impact on his life. How is first ever one client (who made $350,000 on a one-time deal due to Mark's help) sparked the beginning of his digital course, which gained the attraction to more like-minded "geeks" wanting the same success. Not to mention, Mark shares this incredibly unique model of buying and re-selling raw-land estate and reveals some of his secrets that anyone could follow!
With his live investor tool kit events and boot camp program, Mark teaches his students how to offer true value, how to recognize the "Head of the Long Tail", how to find true fans and how to motivate the needle in their lives. He has a goal to help people see what's available and to figure out if that's what they really want to do.

Today's starting quarterback is Laura di Franco, a 6-time published poet and author, inspirational speaker, holistic physical therapist and a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do with over two decades of experience in healing. After checking off all the "to-do" lists that were to supposedly make her feel happy, Laura woke up one day and realized it wasn't good enough. She had everything she could possibly want or need but wasn't truly happy and knew that feeling had to change.
Laura di Franco's MVP Player Stats:
Laura is a highly inspirational speaker whose mission is to help people ground themselves with healing, awareness, self-development while guiding them to live the very best life they can live. She wants to share her message out loud to inspire people to take action, align themselves, seek help such as life coaches and mentors, and practice what they've practiced out onto the field.
In this episode, Laura talks about her experience with awareness and her healing journey. How her game changed after she started to question all the negativity and realized, she had a choice. Her daily challenge is staying in the moment with an on-purpose-positive attitude while life throws its challenges and negativity. Laura has to remind herself that she is good enough and that people should follow that mindset. She says, "Brave Healing is how you show up in the world with a lot of awareness, courage and a little badassery."
We also talk about a time when Laura played a foul standing up for a previous employee's action, how she limits media entertainment to filter out toxicity, and how she stays in her lane to help focus on a positive mindset.
Straight out of Laura's playbook is this powerful question: "What if there was nobody to offend, upset, or disappoint? What would you do or who would you become?"

Review
Hey team! Welcome to my newest series within the Play Your Position Podcast, the PYP Monthly Book Review. Each month moving forward, I'll share with you a review of a book I've either just read or pulled off my shelf and read again.
Super excited to share with you this month's pick, Company of One: Why Staying Small Is the Next Big Thing for Business by Paul Jarvis. If you are running a solo business or thinking about starting a side hustle, you will want to pick up a copy of this book for the insights on what makes a difference in long term sustainability and happiness and what doesn't. I put this book in a growing category of non-fiction business books that highlight how work gets done in the 21st century. Work does not look like it did 15 years ago. We all need guidance on how to do our best work. This book offers that in a straightforward and well-documented style.
