Headed up again, as most odd-numbered episodes will be, by Tim – I can’t tell my neck from my chin – Henderson, the third P2 PixelCast is largely about Nintendo. Because, you know, that last direct that happened recently actually turned out to be pretty good. Like, roughly 534.76783% better than the company’s last E3 one.

He’s joined by Chris and Julian, who bring some thoughts on the third mainline instalments of Crackdown and Kingdom Hearts to the table (appropriately, we’ve really managed to double down on the number three for this one). If you want to know more on what Chris thought of Crackdown 3, then feel free to check out his review. As for Julian and the adventures of the anime Disney crew, you get a lot already, but odds are he’ll eventually get someone to pay him to write a 20,000 word essay on it.

The thunder and rain and lightning tried to stop us, but we persevered and so we bring you the second Player 2 PixelCast on schedule. Okay, that may sound exceedingly dramatic, but Hewso did lose power to his home just before it was time to record.

This was a slight pickle because he’s in charge of hosting this one, and Tim didn’t feel like taking charge since he knows that he has to think of something for episode 3 already. Oh, they’re also joined by Paul James, who seems to be on everything. We expect that his face may be projected onto one of the sails of the Opera House by the time 2019 is done and dusted.

It’s all about anticipation, though. Good looking stuff is coming out this year – even just within the next few months, and the crew take it easy to talk about what they’re keen about on the release slate for before the silly season.

Wait, what? What is this? Player 2 already has a podcast! Well, yeah, now there’s offspring… or something.  Adopted offspring may be the most appropriate term here, actually.

Maybe you’ve heard the PixelCast before and maybe you haven’t either way, it lives at Player 2 now, so everything is getting reset. Perhaps some things will get ironed out to fit the new identity over time? Perhaps not? Perhaps the oceans will rise faster than predicted and none of this will matter anyway? Who knows!

Our first episode of the P2 PixelCast has Tim Henderson in the host chair. He’s done a small handful of things around here before, but it’s likely that Matt, Sarah and Ken will seem more familiar. In any case, you can expect this thing to show up every fortnight with a new topic each time. This episode sees us talking about what we played over the holiday break, as well as what games of old we discovered over the course of the past year.
