In other news, this week Nintendo revealed their plans for celebrating Super Mario’s 35th birthday, including the long-rumoured Switch releases of classic 3D games - but as ever with Nintendo, there are a few catches. Speaking of catches, EA added then removed in-game adverts to UFC 4 this week after a fan backlash; and Marvel’s Avengers has finally released to a middling reaction, with reviews praising the narrative elements but rejecting the service elements in another sign that publisher and player desires are often far apart.

On this week’s PlayersToo Podcast: Halo Infinite has been delayed! A pair of surprise statements from 343 Industries and Xbox confirmed not only that the game would be pushed to 2021 but also that Xbox Series X will launch in November - what’s the plan now for Xbox’s console launch? In other Xbox news, it seems the long-rumoured Series S is definitely real after a controller was seen online with the name mentioned in its manual, and an xCloud beta has begun on Android, but it seems the service won’t be coming to iOS as Apple and Microsoft clash. Batman Arkham developers Rocksteady have also finally revealed their new game will centre on the Suicide Squad, with more to be announced later this month at DC Fandome. 

As ever we discuss the games we’ve been playing, with Mark finishing off Ghost of Tsushima and Lewis taking on the world in Fall Guys, while we shout out to other stories including the abysmal release of Fast & Furious Crossroads, and Horizon Zero Dawn’s problematic PC port.
