The crew arrives in Horizon, the city of the Pirate Lords. They begin to explore, with Nonius choosing to make up for a slight his captain in an unorthodox way. Cass meets the Groom of another ship, Vern learns something of local cults, and the Captain invests in future projects. Later Nonius and Vern witness Robles, a duelist with a ghost blade. Finally the Captain meets with one of his former Pirate Lord colleagues, who tentative agrees to aid with his plan of vengeance and restoration of his position.

We meet Ceri, the playful, rhyming Loon who has constructed a warm pastoral history from the fragments of memory that are all that remain to her; Black Cenred, a man hung for a crime he was manipulated into, but somehow saved by Woden the Allfather in the shape of an owl; Gwylog the Celtic Mystic convinced that the Old Gods of Britain want him to join the other Heroes rather than follow his mentor; and Branwen, the Spirit of a monk denied their afterlife, whose mortal seeming echoes the robes they wore in life, several generations ago.
They arrive at Gundholm just as an exhausted rider brings a message that is not welcomed by the Lady Barnotha's 'heir' Moddred. The atmosphere in the village is strangely cold and oppressive and only the Hawthorn blooms this Summer ...

Stewpot is divided into a series of slice-of-life scenes, with a different set of simple rules and prompts helping adjudicate each scene. You might be scrambling to cook something edible with random ingredients, bartending for troubled souls, calming down a tavern brawl, going shopping for all the things a tavern needs, and more! Work to upgrade your tavern’s cuisine, atmosphere, and service. In the process, you might just learn a little bit about yourself – and your fellow party members.
