Playing from the Tips takes a golf road trip to Wine Country in Walla, Walla Washington. Brian and Jimmie attempt to rack up points in the OGA partner series tour circuit. They attempt to give their description and summarize their experience at the Dan Hickson designed Wine Valley Golf Club.  They talk about the playing through harsh elements, tournament green conditions, and their overall experience.

What a fun format this week. 2022 we brought the WGC Barcket challenge, and now bringing the team format in the Zurich Open This is a unique event because this is a team event.. We’d like to take the time to break down as much as we can…This used to be called the Greater New Orleans Open Invitational…This is the name it had from 1958-1971.  How can it be an invitational and an open?The big thing about this week is the format. In 2017 this turned to a team event. So 4 team events…17, 18,20, and 21. (No 19 due to Covid)

In this episode, we recap our Epic Ireland Golf Experience.  On August 23rd, Dempsey, Aaron, and Kelley and I embark on a 10 day golf trip to Ireland.  We accepted a tournament invite to the  Donegal Links Classic, as only one of two American teams to participate.  We tell our journey of one of the most beautiful countries in the world.  We road trip though the journey less traveled.  Our itinerary was centered around driving from Dublin, to the Northwest part of the country. An epic Ireland roadtrip, where we got to meet some incredible people, stay in quaint coastal towns, enjoy the Irish craic, and take in some most breathtaking views from the land of links golf.
