The majors are done for the year but important golf isn’t. This week the best women golfers from the U.S take on their counterparts from Europe at the Solheim Cup while teams and players have it all to play for in the final LIV Golf regular season event in Chicago. There will also be plenty of interest in the DP World Tour’s Irish Open being played at arguably one of the best handful of golf courses in the world, Royal County Down, while the PGA Tour is in California for the Procore Championship.

It’s a rare week in professional golf that there are only two tournaments on the world’s major circuits with the DP World Tour heading to the visually stunning Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland for the Omega European Masters, while the Asian Tour is in Korea for the 40th Shinhan Donghae Open.

The final major of the year has been run and won and the golf world returns to something more closely resembling normal programming this week with events in Georgia (PGA Tour Championship), Boston (LPGA FM Championship) Indonesia (Asian Tour’s Indonesian Open) and England (Betfred British Masters).
