In this episode Roland Cross, Johnny Bratigan and Ekhartini continue their game of cat and mouse. Roland goes into hiding as Johnny investigates his apartment. Meanwhile Bill searches for the vehicle that struck Sheryl Hayward's car and Paris studies the strange book.

Ekhartini and Agent Cross have a long conversation, ending with Roland showing Ekhartini something. Johnny has a revelation about Sheryl Hayward's murder and sends Bill to investigate. Paris returns home with the intent of studying the book.
