Hey everyone, welcome to playlist today. We’re diving into both Gilbert O’Sullivan and Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees.

To me, both ‘Alone Again (Naturally)’ and ‘Love You Inside Out’ by The Bee Gees feel more like rhymed poetry set to music than conventional pop songs. “lyrics don’t rely on short, punchy lines or the sudden, choppy rhythm typical of rap. Instead, they flow as long, continuous streams of thought—still rhymed, yet conversational—building one clause upon another without sharp breaks. This creates an ongoing, almost stream-like momentum that mirrors the way intense emotions spill out in real time: one idea bleeding seamlessly into the next, drawing the listener deep into the narrator’s inner world as if overhearing an unbroken confession or passionate outpouring straight from the singer’s voice. These tracks have a melodic flow where rhymes link thoughts in an unbroken chain.

It would be wonderful to see Gilbert O’Sullivan and Barry Gibb sharing a stage someday, performing their songs together. Their sounds could blend so beautifully—imagine ‘Alone Again (Naturally)’ and ‘Love You Inside Out’ mixing in harmony. Both were iconic hits from the ‘70s, and at 79 years old, they’re still going strong and creating music.

Hello, I’m Gail Nobles. Welcome to playlist. Tyrese Gibson has a new single title wildflower. The original hit version was performed by the Canadian band Skylark written by Michael Murphy and Larry Cansler.

Tyrese has a remakeof the 1973 hit song and has done an awesome job. He also has a music video which I think was a knockout music video of the song. It was a short film. The video is set in the 1970s and it shows Tyrese performing the song on Soul Train.

Mr. Maph has a real solid tune that’s making waves entitled Tears. This heartfelt song hits all the right notes and takes you on an emotional roller coaster.

From the very first time, the music starts, you can feel the music pulling you in. Mr. Maph’s soulful vocals pour out his feelings like a warm cup of coffee on a chilly day. He sings about the condition of the world.

The song comes from his 2024 album Silence Is Golden. The album proves that Mr. Maph has extraordinary talent and can reach those that listen, and Tears is a perfect example. We can relate to words like “What my eyes see on the news. God’s world is so abused.”

So if you haven’t experienced the soulful sound of Tears, yet, do yourself a favor and give it a listen.

Mr. Maph is definitely a name to remember, and with songs like this, he’s sure to be a big star in the music scene.

October London brings a modern flair to the stage, but it’s just like hearing Marvin Gaye‘s voice. a perfect example is London single back to your place. He has Marvin sound and style, his smooth vocals and eloquent. The very spirit of love, heartbreak, and triumph much - like the legendary Marvin Gaye himself.

October London is a great singer and songwriter. He was signed to Death Row Records by Snoop Dogg in 2022 and released his studio album, The Rebirth of Marvin, in 2023. Its single, "Back to Your Place", topped the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart and was nominated for three Soul Train Music Awards.
