At time of posting Sony is yet to state exactly WHY there is an increase in the PS Plus service across Australia and Europe.

Where is the money going? Will it "build better services"? Will it help revamp the PSN? Is it to do with the new System Update 5.0? Is PlayStation Now getting bundled in?
