The PlayStation VR went on sale earlier this fall clocking in as the third tethered VR headset to arrive this year. The experience is less immersive overall than previous options on the market place, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, yet the PSVR is very compelling. It's cheaper for one thing, with prices starting at $400 (compared to the Vive which costs a whopping $799).

Mainly, the best benefit of this system is that there's a ton of the content for it! PSVR launched with 30 compatible games, and Sony has promised to offer 50 by the end of the year, including major franchises like Batman and Resident Evil. Finally, the PSVR is very comfortable to wear, which is not for nothing when you're playing for long periods of time.
