The church is finding itself in the midst of challenging times as many of it’s values seem to be challenged on many levels. How do we respond? We must respond in a manner that not only reveals God’s standards but also reveals God’s character and nature. Misrepresenting His character while trying to stand up for His principles will inadequately represent Him. We must be incarnational in all that we say and how we say it. This message should cause the believer to not only examine what we believe but how we are expressing what we believe so we can reveal the true King and His Kingdom.

David said the Lord is my light, my salvation and my stronghold, so whom shall I fear? He stood in the face of those who hated him, hunted him and drove him into dark places, yet He knew God had preserved him. From those experiences burned one desire in the heart of this king - the presence of God. To dwell in the house of the Lord, look upon His beauty and inquire of His temple became the passion of a man who knew that God had graciously rescued him time after time. A salvation experience should lead to an increased desire for the presence of God. This message will cause you to ask - what is my one burning desire?

Paul said God chose to use us, earthen vessels, to be vessels of spiritual treasure that God has placed within us. Those vessels are at times hard pressed, perplexed, persecuted and struck down but the vessel remains in order to display the power of God through fragile vessels. This message will encourage you and inspire you to not lose heart when going through some of the adversity we face as earthen vessels.

God set His seal upon His son as He walked the earth. The seal was the Holy Spirit of God who lived within Him and raised him from death to life. The bible says that we too, as believers are sealed with the very same Holy Spirit. The God behind the resurrection lives in us. Just as the seal on the inside of the tomb was greater than the seal on the tomb, the seal on the inside of believers is greater than the seal of the world

Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey to the shouts of the people who had kingdom expectations they were looking for the Messiah to fulfill. Their expectations caused them to miss the kingdom that Jesus came to bring. Similarly we, as believers today, can miss the kingdom Jesus died to establish because our understudying of the kingdom and our expectations of it are flawed. This message will cause you to examine His kingdom and your expectations of it as well as your place in it.
