Justin "Woody" Pollari was 14 when he disappeared from St. Joseph Island, Ontario on Friday, December 7, 2001. He'd be 39 now.
For almost 25 years they've called him a runaway. But he left everything — his clothes, his money, the board that never left his side — and vanished without a trace. That's not a runaway.
The people who know are on that island, and some of them will never phone a tip line or talk to police. But they'll talk to me, face to face, once they trust me. And there are locals holding pieces of this who never see a post like this at all. The only way to reach them is to **be there** — in the community, knocking on doors.
That's what the family's fund is for. Not overhead — the drive north, the days on the island, the conversations that only happen in person: https://gofund.me/d0d07a9de
