In this episode Jon talks through the life of Sarah and how she can be an example of encouragement when facing the impossible.

Abraham serves as an example of walking by faith. When God told Abraham to go from the only home he ever knew Abraham went. Sometimes we Christians have to have all the details and a clear road map before we are ready to step out in faith. Abraham teaches the lesson that obedience to God sometimes requires stepping out into the unknown by faith.

Every Christian has a story to tell. For some their story might be short and simple while others have a long and drawn out, yet in both cases it is the story of how God worked in the life of that person. There are many arguments leveled against the Christian faith, but the power of a personal testimony is hard to refute.

In God's great design for the family, he gave children parents to watch over, protect, guide, and train them in the way they should go. The fifth commandment God gave Moses is actually addressed to children and it calls for honor, respect, and obedience towards one's parents. Obedience to this command takes on different forms as ages and stages of life begin to change. This week Jon sits down with his father and discusses what this looks like at various points of life.
