There is a great movement called “The Complaint Free World”, created by Will Bowen. He talks a lot about the detriments of complaining.
He believes that there are five reasons why people complain, which he describes using the acronym, GRIPE (get attention, responsibility, inspire envy, power, and excuse poor performance).
Complaining carries destructive power. Always remember that your thoughts create your reality.
You need to recondition your mind so that you are able to control your reactions and find empowering, positive meaning from experiences that happen to you. If you do not, you will become a slave to things that are out of your control.
In the words of Maya Angelou, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you cant change it, change your attitude”.
Focus on the positive and join the complaint-free challenge.
