Okusitino Paseka is the New Conservative Party candidate for Te Atatū.  Okusitino has lived in West Auckland for all of his life. He attended Kelston Boys’ High School from 2013 – 2017 and was a senior prefect there.

In 2017, he was honoured to be elected to the Whau local youth Board, and served in that role for two years.

Okusitino has always had a passion for politics from a very young age. He joined the New Zealand National Party in 2014 and held a number of significant roles in the Kelston electorate.

Lord Fusitu’a has lost his seat in parliament after a long absence from the Legislative Assembly since the 5th of August last year.

The office of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga confirmed that under section 7 of the Legislative Assembly Act, if a member of parliament is absent from the Assembly for more than 12 consecutive calendar months, his tenure as a member shall end and the seat will become vacant.
