Meet Jacqueline:

"My name is Jacqueline Sevilla and I am the owner of @Luxie_beauty_ .  I graduated with a bachelor's degree in business and my initial goal was to pursue a professional position in a corporate company.  I never would have thought when I graduated that getting my brows microshaded would change the course of my life the way it did.  With that being said I left my position to pursue a career in Permanent Makeup.  

I am certified in Lip Blushing, SMP and I recently became certified in Saline removal for Ombre Powder brows/Microbladed brows. I am also double certified in Ombre Powder brows. Being a PMU artist made me fall more in love with the beauty industry and I wanted to learn more.  I decided to go back to school for esthetics and I'm learning so much about the skin and how to treat it as well as different interesting services that I will definitely be adding to my list of services once I am licensed. 

My goal for the future is to combine what I am currently learning with PMU.  I would like to level up my clients experience while getting their permanent makeup service with more of a spa like setting as well as treatment, while also offering a variety of esthetic treatments/services".

Laura Jane is a clinical nurse specialist from the UK. She has 13 years experience in plastic surgery, oncology and trauma and 3 years experience in PMU.

LJ’s day job is wound care expert and medical tattoo artist. Where she tattoos around 150 women per year following mastectomy.

LJ has recently started her own external PMU business in Surrey, offering medical tattooing and beauty PMU. Following gaining a VCTC qualification from the Clinical Academy, Portsmouth.

LJ is one of the few nurses in the UK that’s accredited by insurance companies for PMU.

Meet Veronica:

My name is Veronica Perez. I’ve been in the beauty and cosmetic field for almost 20 years!! Most recently I have  absolutely fallen in love with the permanent makeup industry, all its potential growth and it's served as a creative outlet for me. I started in the industry truly as a side hustle and used it to fill my need for art and creativity. In 2020 I decided to quit my big girl job as a cosmetic dental assistant, for 12 years, to follow a feeling and truly give myself a shot at doing something bigger than me. 

I never imagined opening a salon or business in my hometown of  Sandwich, IL  but here I stand over a year and a half later and still growing. I’ve also added time in Chicago by renting days from my now partner Mannat. Which brings us to the present! Mannat and I are excited to announce that we are collaborating in a new project which is called Haus of Beauty Chicago!! 

With this new growth and location we hope to merge our businesses and knowledge to hold a space for other women. I love what I do but I know that I have something so special to give back. Our goal is to empower women with the tools and resources they will need so that they can also follow their dreams. We are working on developing a holistic program that would help our women from the inside out to be able to thrive in the best light and on their own businesses. Well, with us as their strength until they develop their own. Our basic idea is to offer mentorship opportunities and we will hold events with other women to educate us on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, inner peace and strength, resources for their particular industry and so much more.

Meet Sandy:

Sandy is passionate about inspiring others to live their best and most fulfilling life.  She earned her M.B.A focusing on small business management and has always known she wanted to start her own company.  She has experience in sales, marketing, public relations and brand management.  Fast forward to 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, she decided it was time to go on her own and started MedInk’d along with her friend and business partner.  She fell in love with this industry and is certified in ombre brows, powder brows, lip blushing, scalp micropigmentation and scar camouflage. She is excited to share and spread the word of this amazing industry as the Social Media Communications Coordinator for the American Academy of Micropigmentation through educational content, podcast recordings and webinars.  

 In her free time, she likes to check out different restaurants and events in Chicago where she was born and raised.  She enjoys yoga, barre, pilates and is fluent in Spanish.  She also co-owns Bronz’d which is a mobile airbrush tanning company and enjoys helping her clients look and feel beautiful in their own skin.

Meet Jamie:

My name is Jamie Morrison, the owner of Beauty and the Brow Microblading, located in Chico, California. I’ve been a permanent makeup artist for five years, and I am board certified through the AAM. I specialize in Nano Brows, as well as lip blushing, Areola reconstruction, and paramedical tattooing. 

Before I began my career in permanent makeup, I worked as a registered veterinary technician for 14 years. I was able to leave a career in veterinary medicine, build a six-figure business, and be consistently booked out with a Waitlist between 6 to 12 months long in just a few short years.
