  • The Spirit of Religiosity (EP111)
Being "religious" in the way that many Christians are these days shows up in the form of doing things out of tradition, form and fashion and not because of a genuine relationship with Jesus (Yeshua). In this episode George Fossett and I discuss this spirit. George is the son of a pastor and grew up around the things of God. He has served in the political arena and as a minister of music. His passion is for worship and seeing a forum where worship is spontaneous and real. He has seen the fake religious aspect of the church and he has seen the authentic move of the spirit of God. #GeorgeFossett #Worship #Minister

  • Discipleship Lessons from DMX (Special Bonus) EP109
DMX, born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, as Earl Simmons, passed away at the age of 50 due to complications overall from a heart attack, which he had on Friday April 2, 2021, a week prior. DMX grew up in Nee York, USA, and was known as one of the greatest and grittiest Rappers of his era. He accomplished a feat in music, specifically Hip Hop, that nobody else has ever done, including any Rapper you can think of in any generation: including having his first two albums released to then go to number one within the same year on the rap charts, to having his first 5 albums go to number one on the charts, which no other American Artist has achieved and many other notable things. He seemed to struggle with the thought of following Jesus, but also living life in the real streets, which made him "have to" live a gritty life that was a complete contradiction to God's word. His life without proper discipleship led down a path of addiction, in and out of rehabs, etc. His addiction to crack came at age 14 when he hit a blunt (marijuana) laced with crack. His then 30 year old mentor knew it was laced and DMX blamed him for the addiction, and rightly so. Let his life be an example of what it is like to live without proper parenting, especially spiritual, and discipleship in one's life. All of the game, fortune, success and fans couldn't save him from death, and all we can pray for is that he made it into Jesus' realm that we call Heaven. #DMX #HipHop #EarlSimmons

  • "Know Thyself: Your True Self" Part 3 (EP108)
BEFORE you listen to this Part Three of this series, if you have not listened to Part One and Two, I implore you to go back and listen to them first, because each part of this three-part series is building up to the next one.
When you saw that title, what did you think of first? Did it make you gasp? Did it not impact you at all? Or did it just make you curious enough to say, " I should listen and see what they are talking about"? Let me be the first to tell you, this will be one of the most enlightening and eye-opening episodes of this podcast to date!!! I do not say that lightly.
The inspiration for this series came when I saw a YouTube video with the phrase Know Thyself: The Highest Level of Knowledge.
That is a BIG, FAT LIE!!! In this 3 - part series you will go deep into some realms of truth that the church has rarely touched, unfortunately, and much of the church is afraid to discuss for fear of being called heretics or whatever. In some cases, people who are leading do not want people to come into the knowledge of who they are, because they will then not be under the control of those they have called their leaders anymore.
I was awakened to truth on this subject, in seed form in 1995, when I was fresh out of the U.S. Navy. You must listen to the whole series for the full understanding and not hearing part of the story. Peep how Terrance Frederick and I dig into this subject, which is sure to blow your mind with the revelation that will come forth from this discussion. #Terrance Frederick #NormanBrown #KnowThyself #KnowChristToKnowThyself

  • Terrance Frederick: "Gucci & Geechie" Pt 2 (EP105)
Pneu "words for the week" to help some understand the title used in this episode.
"Gucci" (pronounced "Goo -chee") is a popular slang term derived from U.S. Based Hip Hop Culture, which means "good". Geechie -Geechie (and various other spellings, such as Geechy or Geechee) is a word referring to the U.S. Lowcountry ethnocultural group of the descendants of West African slaves who retained their cultural and linguistic history, otherwise known as the Gullah people and Gullah language (aka, Geechie Gullah, or Gullah-Geechee, etc). It has been used as a nickname for persons originating out of this culture and ethnic group. The term derives from the name of the Ogeechee River, an area where many of them settled.
Terrance Frederick is an apostle, author and musical creative. In this part 2 of his story he goes into more details about his life from experiencing homelessness to hustling for a fake magazine company to being locked up and then coming back to the Lord's service after running for many years from his calling into ministry. Check out part 2 of his story today. #TerranceFrederick #Ministry #Apostle

Terrance Frederick is an apostle, author and musical creative. He is no stranger to this audience of listeners, but I (Norman) have not fully and properly introduced him to you. He is first of all a friend of mine. As an apostle he has led many ventures that he founded and sustained for many years, he has impacted the streets, his local cities, his home church and nationally impacted the USA, but even with all of that he knows that means he is a servant first. In this part one of a two part series, he starts out in the beginning of his life and tells us about his origins from being born to teenage parents, one of Geechie descent, in Charleston, South Carolina, USA, who were not even 16 years old yet, to then moving around with his family due to his dad's military career.
He is able to identify with those who hated school, rebelled against many things and then went on to be bound by sexual perversion, being caught up in the occult and involving himself in a life of running away from God in every way possible, but he eventually came back. This story of redemption starts with this part of his story. Check out part 1 of his story today. #TerranceFrederick #Ministry #Apostle
