  • He's "Too Phliy" to go Unnoticed: CHH, Life & New Music (S2) - EP 72
Tywan Lewis aka “Too Phliy” , a name given to Him by his mentor in early 2009, was born and raised in Washington, DC, surrounded by music, and at age 10 he became fascinated with rap music and rhyming. Life took him on several different paths that were unrelated: drug dealing, street life and Go-Go music.
As a result of his life being changed he pursued Christian Hip Hop music as part of his ministry purpose. He later came to make his stage name, Too Phliy, an acronym, meaning Taking Off Oppression Putting His Life In You (T.O.O. P.H.L.I.Y.). He is also the Co-Ceo of Day Of Atonement Music Group and is set to bring that heat to the music world! Find him on all social media and music on the major platforms.

  • I Came, I Saw...Iraq: Timothy Robinson on Racism in the U.S. Government PT 3 (S2) - EP 71
In this final part of the 3 part series, Timothy Robinson reveals various ways that racism has affected him and his family through the government. He also reveals how it keeps people from speaking up, because of the creative ways that people use the system to get around being called racist, while doing favors for those who they like, but allowing others to remain in lesser conditions, etc, or allowing those who are more qualified to get passed up, because they did not bow down to "kiss the ring".

  • I Came, I Saw...Iraq: Timothy Robinson on Racism in the U.S. Government PT 1 (S2 EP 69)
Are you a veteran of the military (in any country)? Imagine being sent into the middle of Iraq several times fighting an enemy, while also among those who were supposed to be on the same team, but were enemies in disguise, also trying to kill you. Not only did he survive that, but also was blessed by God to not be in places where people were killed just after he left or just after they left. With so many close calls and situations there is no wonder he is grateful to be alive today with a tremendous story to tell.
Timothy Robinson aka Robbie served in the U.S. Military for more than 20 years and retired. He is a Baltimore native and has been playing musical instruments since he was a child. He has played the keyboard for the Winans (Marvin, Michael, Ronald and Carvin) and has even had some "jam sessions" with John P. Kee and others to name a few. After moving to South Carolina as a teenager, through his mom's pursuit of ministry relationships, he was introduced to the Lakin family and also became friends with the Lakin's children John, David and Shelia (who went on to become one of the lead singers for John P. Kee).
When Tim starts going into childhood memories it becomes emotional at times when great memories are told, and the reason for this depth of emotion is because Tim is Norman's uncle and they practically grew up as brothers with only a few years' difference in their ages.  Tim reveals things never shared before this interview about his life that will help many to face their past memories that they seldom speak on.
This and much more will be discussed. This is part 1 of the 3 part series on Racism in the U.S. Government. Trust us, this is just a warm-up to the second and third parts that you don't wanna miss.

  • I Can't Breathe: Bill & Traci Vanderbush on George Floyd's Murder & Racism (S2) EP 66
Amid the explosive events following the murder of George Floyd before the eyes of the whole world, my friends (Norman) Bill and Traci Vanderbush, reached out to me asking, "What can we do?" That question is the question that all people who are not in the category of those who have been systematically brutalized, oppressed and had racism enacted against, should be asking, especially in light of what is happening all over the world in the form of protests, riots and looting.  In this part 1 of 3 we discussed the following subjects and more in this episode: **God Cares About Justice, **No Validation, **How Systematic Oppression Looks, **Personal Police Encounters, **Assimilating to Others’ Image, **Love at the Center of Change   Wanna weigh in on this conversation? • True Stories Part 6: Healing the Nations (S2) - EP 65
At Pneu Pneuma, we are all about bringing all people together in unity and healing them from any past hurts due to any type of ethnic prejudice, racism and so forth. God's word tells us to be "ministers of reconciliation". We are to work to bring people together, not tear them apart.
So, Alex and Levi join Norman and Justin again for more discussions in part 6 of our True Stories series, about ethnic groups and what we have discovered through our own personal lives. This is a very comical, lighthearted and real way of addressing issues that we have been through, and that is how healing begins and continues, when people are allowed to be real and speak openly about things that bother them.
