Pneuma Life Church

“Do not judge” may be one of Jesus’ most quoted teachings, but what did He actually mean?In Matthew 7:1–6, Jesus is not telling us to ignore sin or abandon discernment. He is confronting a critical and condemning spirit. Before examining the speck in someone else’s eye, we must allow the Holy Spirit to examine our own hearts. In this message, “Don’t Judge,” we discover how to speak truth without condemnation, correct with humility, and pursue restoration instead of simply proving we are right. We are called to extend the same grace, patience, and mercy to others that God has extended to us.Join us at Pneuma Life Church as we continue through the Sermon on the Mount and learn what it truly looks like to follow Jesus.

In this message, Pastor Jessica breaks down the prayer Jesus gave us as a guide for both how to pray and what to pray. The Lord’s Prayer:

🙏 Reveals God’s heart
❤️ Reorders our hearts
🙌 Reshapes our lives

The first three requests focus on God, while the final three focus on our needs. But the ultimate goal isn’t simply answered prayer. It’s heart transformation!

In this next message from the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Jason sets the tone for prayer. While the Pharisees prayed loudly, publicly and dramatically to be noticed, Jesus brought the focus back to the heart. He teaches us to meet with God in secret, pray without needing to be seen and develop intimacy with Him privately before expressing our faith publicly. Prayer isn’t a performance. It’s a relationship.

In this next message from the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Jason explores how the Pharisees did good to be seen, praised and recognized by others. But Jesus goes straight to the heart and asks: What’s your motivation? Are you doing good to be noticed, or because you genuinely desire to glorify God? Can you serve in secret and remain confident that your Heavenly Father sees you?
