They run a local bakeshop here in Spokane, WA for the past 8 years and have grown and expanded with now 4 storefront locations all around our town! With cupcakes, brownies, caramels, wedding cakes, birthday cakes, macaroons and so much more, even just walking by, the sweet smells just draw you in! Being most well known for their cupcakes around here, there’s no questions why. They are constantly coming up with new flavor combinations and only use the best ingredients to do so. On this episode of the PNW Community Dreams podcast we sit down and chat with Mandolyn Hume who is the owner of Fannie's Ice Pops. Based out of Spokane, WA she makes fun flavors of popsicles out of her home using all fresh, local and organic ingredients. After having twins and wanting to be at home with her family more, she was inspired by the Ice Cream Man that roamed her neighborhood to make a healthier alternative for her children! Her kids aren't the only ones who likes her popsicles, the community has shown their love for them as well. Over the past six years, Fannie's Ice Pops has continued to grow, not only from Farmer's Markets but started doing catering and getting her popsicles into local stores all around Spokane as well. This "one women band" is truly an inspiration of doing what you love and having fun with it.

On episode #7 of the PNW Community Dreams podcast we sat down with an outstanding member of society Collin who has been working tremendously hard to get where he is at now. He has been chasing his dreams with playing sports and when things didn't turn out exactly as planned he decided to go for it and try different things to build his success and others around him. He kept a positive attitude and kept his mentality strong to keep pushing and working hard. After some years of playing football in college he decided to give back in a great way with becoming a personal trainer at a body district in Texas. Working with community and marketing not to push a sale or product but to push a lifestyle of going for it as well as sharing inspiration to others about what they can do with their body. He has been working on more networking opportunity at the gym with community and doing free sessions to show what he is all about!

Now at the age of 19, he has worked tremendously hard over the years to grow his brand and reach out to others in the community and excel in the social media world. Buster is a true entrepreneur, besides Hoops Nation he also has a YouTube channel and his own podcast.
