Monday, June 22nd, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Ze. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Appetite are back at Chinois Ibiza for a four-date Tuesday residency running July 7th through the 28th — that's four Tuesdays in a row from the party crew and label who've been holding it down there three years running. They came through the IMS Dalt Vila collaboration and afterparty takeover earlier this spring, and now they're back for what promises to be another strong summer run. Weekly lineups have been revealed and includes among founders Elliot Schooling & Liam Palmer, Hot Since 82, Groove Armada, Skream, Luuk Van Dijk, & Laidlaw.
Houghton Festival has dropped its 2026 lineup, and among the first-timers this year are CCL, livwutang, and Gabrielle Kwarteng — three names making their Houghton debut this summer. Always worth watching who gets their first invitation to that particular party.
The Rave Preservation Project is growing. The digital archive has now passed 40,000 items — flyers, posters, artwork, the physical record of rave culture — and they've expanded with a new directory and discovery tools to help people actually find their way through it. If you've ever wanted to fall down a rabbit hole of rave history, the tools are apparently getting better.
Bae Bae makes her Planet Mu debut with an EP called *Gauze*, and there's real weight behind it. The record was made in response to the ongoing crisis in Gaza, drawing on her own productions alongside real-world recordings from Palestine. The lead track is called 'Still Believe.'
Gareth Emery has launched a new label called Emotional Intelligence Records, and he's been very deliberate about one thing: no AI. The label launches under his LSR/CITY project with a debut single called 'Burn It Down.' Human-only.
Records of the week come from Fantastic Man on Axis of People, Forest Drive West on Delsin, Marco Passarani on Studiomaster, Moodymann on Defected, and Sepehr on Kapsela. A strong spread across the spectrum this week.
A few more releases to flag: Eikenhead — the Ecuadorian producer and DJ — drops his *Eikenworks 10* EP on July 1st, pulling from the UK electronic tradition, peak-hour house and 90s UK synths. David Morales and Tiger Wilson have linked up on a soulful house cut called 'Cravin',' blending classic NYC grooves with gospel-rooted vocals. Emanuel Satie has a late-night new one on Crosstown Rebels. And Lee Foss teams up with ERASR for 'Party Monster' on Repopulate Mars.
Now, what's on tonight. At Ushuaïa, David Guetta presents F*** Me I'm Famous with Afrojack, Mesto and Paul Reynolds. Universe has John Summit's Experts Only night — Layton Giordani back-to-back with Patrick Topping, plus Tini Gessler and Greg 99. Pacha welcomes Sonny Fodera, Morgan Seatree, Danny Howard and Laeet. Over at Hï, Francis Mercier presents Solèy with Diplo, Ape Drums, Caiiro, Da Capo, Enoo Napa, Uncle Waffles, Andrea Oliva and Jonathan Kaspar — that's a serious room. Amnesia has Kettama presenting Steel City with Nia Archives, Clouds, Carla Martinez and Slab. Las Dalias and Akasha host Peace N' Music with DJ Pippi, Willie Graff. DC10 is Circoloco with Aurora Halal, DJ Koze, DJ Tennis, Fletch, Jnjs, Job Jobse, Joss Dean, and Miguelle & T. Eden has Still X Spades featuring Hector Couto, Dea Tosh, Carrot, Walli, Kaleeba. O Beach runs La Fiesta with Darrel Privett, Hodges, Mainline, Molly D, Sam Lashmar, Jamie Love and Lucy Jane. And Chinois has La Troya with Gok Wan, Oscar Colorado, Mikey Slade and Savio Beaumont.
