  • Decorating the Set: From Hollywood to Your Home (Art and AJ Stetson)

Welcome to Decorating the Set: From Hollywood to Your Home with Beth Kushnick! And just like that, we've reached our Season 1 Finale of Decorating the Set! This week, Beth and Caroline complete the decoration of your Living Room with a deep dive into Art and how to make it work in your home.  While recording this episode, Beth mentioned how inspired she was by the recent work of photographer, AJ Stetson, and his Masked NYC: Witness to Our Time exhibit. So, to celebrate our Season Finale, we asked AJ to speak with us about Masked NYC and that interview is now a part of this season finale episode! We hope you enjoy the Episode and AJ's special message.

This week's episode features a special interview with photographer and image maker, AJ Stetson. AJ's Masked NYC: Witness to Our Time exhibit has captured on film, this important moment in our country, documenting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and our country’s long overdue reckoning with racism.

All profits realized from Masked NYC: Witness to Our Time will be donated to the Know Your Rights Camp COVID-19 Relief Fund, founded by Colin Kaepernick to help address the pandemic’s disproportionate effect on our communities of color.

From October 13-25, Masked NYC: Witness to Our Time is on display at the Art Gallery at Pace University (41 Park Row, NYC). For more information on how to see the Exhibit, please head to Pace's Website Here.

Welcome to Podcast V - Discussing The Boys, the weekly podcast where Cat and Paul discuss each episode of Amazon's The Boys! This week, The Boys season 2 finale, episode 8: "What I Know"!

Welp, Boys fans. That's it until next year. What did you think? Was it a good follow-up season to last year? Cat and Paul agree on their reviews, but you'll have to listen to find out.

In this podcast episode, Paul and Cat ask:

    * Since Maeve stepped up this year, Will we see more of Maeve in future seasons?
    * Does Billy's final decision regarding Ryan follow the spirit of  Becca's wishes for her son?
    * Homelander showed some vulnerability and a different side to his moral compass. Is there any chance little hints like his reaction to Stormfront's propaganda may add up to a positive change for his character?
    * The season ends with the big reveal of the head-popping supe. What was the connection or pattern between all of the people that got popped?

Listen in to see what else we have to say about the season finale!

Podcast V - Discussing The Boys - S2E7. Image by Prime Video. Copyright 2020.

Welcome to Podcast V - Discussing The Boys, the weekly podcast where Cat and Paul discuss each episode of Amazon's The Boys! This week, episode 7: Butcher, Baker, Candlestickmaker!

No sophomore slump for this one. I sure hope the people that crapped on Amazon for deciding to release weekly have come back to the show, despite its old fashioned release style. Or maybe I don't. Cat and I are happily enjoying a quality, unpredictable show and I think I'm ok with savoring it instead of gorging myself all at once. (I'm looking at you, Umbrella Academy).

In this podcast episode, Paul and Cat ask:

    * Billy spent a long time with his father this week. What was the lesson he and the audience were supposed to learn?
    * Ok, well sure. Now that Homelander has abducted Ryan, What's his big plan? Raise him in Vought Tower?
    * When Homelander and Becca argue over parenting style, Homelander actually makes a good point. Which parent is right?
    * Lamplighter seemed content to go along with the plan and atone for his sins against the Colonel by testifying against Vought. Then he decided not to. Could we have seen Lamplighter's final decision coming?

Listen in to see what else we have to say about this week's episode!
