Hi, it’s been a while… It’s been a whole six months since the last episode of this show, and I am so sorry for being MIA that whole time. Tonight is the eve of the 2020 presidential election and the country faces a very difficult road ahead of us for the next few days and weeks. In this episode, I catch y'all up on what has been going on in my life and I try to lay out my argument for voting for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I also try to lay out a rough path forward for this podcast and my journey in the climate fight.

Welcome to another Late Night for the Planet. Tonight is going to be different from most of the shows that we have done. As I am sure you are aware, we are recording this special live show via Zoom, and so please bear with us as we figure out the kinks. Tonight we are joined by some friends of the show, some of whom have been guests on here before. We have SUNY Plattsburgh professors Lauren Eastwood and John McMahon. We also are joined by Adam Saslow, and Eric Howe, the Director of the Lake Champlain Basin Program. We discuss the current COVID-19 pandemic, how it has impacted our education, the political landscape, and the celebration of Earth Day 50.
