Idaho is in the middle of a constitutional crisis regarding an attempt by establishment legislators to all but end ballot initiatives in Idaho. In this episode we catch up with up to the minute action and we make a surprising declaration regarding Heather Scott. It seems that Heather Scott is concerned that limiting the ballot initiative may undercut the constitutional rights of Idaho's citizens... Heather Scott is correct and we appreciate it when people live their values even if they have to stand up to their own party.
This episode is all about the legislature's reaction to voter initiatives in Idaho. Currently the Idaho Legislature is deciding two bills that will have dramatic impact on initiatives. One bill will disrupt the recently passed "Proposition 2" and the other one will disrupt upcoming initiatives. We call this the grumpy legislature "get off my lawn" episode.
