Pod I Want for Christmas

Breaking News! Allison Sweeney and Marc Blukas find holiday romance and Christmas spirit in Hallmark's Good Morning, Christmas!

Join Aires and Aleah as they discuss the movie that was "ripped from the headlines" to the delight of some.

Anywhere you listen to podcasts.

Welcome to Pod I Want for Christmas! This week husband and wife team Aires and Aleah join the chorus and sing Feliz NaviDAD on Lifetime.

Mario Lopez stars as a hunky dude swaggering his way through life and his high school hallways, looking for a new Mama. But enough about Feliz NaviDAD! Did you catch him in Saved by the Bell? Essentially he plays the same character, but in this new holiday romance he’s all grown up and falling in love at Christmas. Watch for the sheer Mario Lopez of it all.

Welcome to Pod I Want for Christmas! This week, husband and wife team Aires and Aleah rev up their engines to watch the Lifetime film, Christmas on Wheels. They even brought a guest to ride shotgun, Aleah's brother Devon!

Screeeech!

Christmas On Wheels is an unconventional, car-centric holiday romance that in the end is as entirely, annoyingly, conventional as they come. Not even Tiya Sicar’s flawless skin couldn’t save this one.

Netflix's latest royal Christmas caper. But this one's rife with Hudgenses, and it helps!

Join us for a special bonus episode of Pod I Want for KIDmas: Jingle Jangle, featuring the most joy, music, dancing and cheer so far this season.

You know the saying “Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater”? No? NO!? No. Despite the movie’s attempt, it’s never going to happen. And despite that, it’s still fetch*.

*Props to the original fetch queen, now Hallmark queen, Lacey Chabert!

What do you get when Rudolph drops a deuce? A Christmas Yule Log.

What do you get when a travel writer spends the 12 days before Christmas with the Christmas-iest widower in the Christmas-iest town in the American Southwest? The Christmas Yule Blog. No pun intended. It's a real...log.

Netflix's unconventional made for TV holiday romance, Operation Christmas Drop, includes all the tropes found in any generic Christmas-obsessed small-town setting: the local good-guy, the career-focused gal embarking on a journey of healing, and the annual international humanitarian effort that brings them together.

Without a hint of irony, the best part of this one is the real-life inspiration of Anderson Air Force Base's annual Operation Christmas Drop in the Micronesian Islands. As we approach this Veteran's Day, may God (and Pod) Bless all you service men and women!

It's the made-for-TV Christmas romance that COVID-19 built. "Christmas Love Story" this is NOT, though Kristin Chenowith as horny Aunt Susan is a revelation. Get this holiday season started early and enjoy a send-up of overbearing families, cheating partners and the pressures of tradition and expectation. The perfect COVID Christmas carol.

(This one's TV-MA, so take care watching the movie or listening to this episode with little ears around.*)

I really, really, really, really like you, but not as much as Lacy Chabert really, really, really, really likes Sam Page in this ex-pat Christmas romance. Listen as we reflect on if this story captured the heart and soul of Rome.

Buon Natale in July!
