It's been a while and we felt like it was good to catch up on some of the news stories that have happened recently around the continent. We'll be sharing some news from Nigeria, an unfolding story in South Africa as well as a meeting the African Union had with Putin.

In this episode, we the people of Pod Save Africa discuss the recent AFCON games that was held from the 9th of January to the 6th of February 2022 . We discuss the incredible and electric atmosphere of the tournament. We chat about a few of the controversies and the less than optimal international coverage. We talk Superstars and Also-Rans.
