What kind of Orioles podcast fails to record a single episode during a 101-win regular season? This one! However, we are back for our most important annual episode: the Sporcle! @NaturallyKatz11 (Rose) is still your host regardless of gender and her guests for this episode are @Os_poems (Haiku), @bigshelbss (Shelby) and @BoobenOG (Ruben). Will our three guests name all 50 Orioles to appear in a game this year? You'll just have to find out.
Another year, another Sporcle. We brought back the end-of-the-year Sporcle, with @NaturallyKatz11 (Jordan) hosting as @OriolesMuse_ (Derrick), @ManciniGOAT (Joey) and @TheOnlyNoIan (Nolan) attempted to name all 58 Orioles who made this year's 83-79 season possible. We hope you enjoy seeing if we completed the quiz!
Your favorite sporadically recorded podcast is back now that we've reached a Birdland milestone: Adley Rutschman has hit his first homer in the majors. To mark the occasion, @NaturallyKatz11 (Jordan) is joined by the king of selfies with prospects: @imfrommaryland (Bryce). We obviously talked about Adley, but also looked at some of the other storylines from this season like Jorge Lopez being the best closer in baseball. We ended the episode by looking ahead to things like DL Hall being called up and Heston Kjerstad continuing to prove he's real.
Opening Day is almost here! To celebrate, @NaturallyKatz11 (Jordan) is joined by a new guest, Jack (@fakehyunsootwo) and welcomes back Caleb (@OriolesDude) to recap the offseason and preview this season. We discussed everything from Carlos Correa rumors to Jorge Lopez being a reliever and tried to decide on what would make this season a success.
Due to the lockout there hasn't been a lot of recent news in Birdland, but we still wanted to use the holiday break to welcome two new guests to the show. @NaturallyKatz11 (Jordan) is joined by @TheOnlyNoIan (Nolan) and @JayMaysHays (Jay) to discuss the most recent news relevant to the Orioles: Buck Showalter becoming the newest manager of the New York Mets. We got off-topic pretty regularly during this episode but hey, that's the fun of recording a podcast.
The Atlanta Braves have defeated the Houston Astros to become this year's World Series champion. @NaturallyKatz11 (Jordan) is joined by @CastrBlastr (Ian) and @ManciniGOAT (Joey) to reflect on this postseason from an Orioles perspective. We looked at the Astros tanking and what it could mean for the future of the Orioles, discussed our disappointment over Nick Markakis retiring one year too early for a ring and highlighted other former Orioles of note in the postseason like Kevin Gausman and Nelson Cruz.
The Orioles season is over. To celebrate, @NaturallyKatz11 (Jordan) hosts as @MASNOriolez (Freddie), @OriolesDude (Caleb) and @Os_poems (Haiku) try to name all 62 Orioles who appeared in a game this year. We came awfully close!
@NaturallyKatz11 (Jordan) hasn't been fired as the host yet and is joined by @bradinhooo (Brady) and @ManciniGOAT (Joey) to reflect on the complicated legacy of Chris Davis. We also talk about Jorge Mateo's speed and Buster Olney's tweet.
The podcast currently has 8 episodes available.
