Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening condition that requires early recognition and appropriate treatment for the best outcomes. In pediatric cases, this can be more challenging for a variety of reasons including the barriers to obtaining a history and physical, knowing the appropriate dosing of medications, and the general stress of managing sick pediatric patients.
