We think this is a vital message for men, especially in a time when church services accentuate show biz trappings over spiritual nourishment. Emotion has its place, but self-control is a fruit of the spirit. The fellows talk about better ways to gauge spiritual growth, such as loyalty to God, everyday integrity and a committing to action even when it's hard.
