Three areas that people can improve upon in regards to strength are physical, technical, and mental.  Most people program specifically to improve physical and technical strength, however, they don't systematically program for mental strength.  This is important to consider because if mental strength is not properly developed it can impair the ability to maximally use both physical and technical strengths.
