In this episode of the Podcast, I talk briefly about the unexpected passing of the late-great Eddie Van Halen... I talked about his early days, his passion for music, forming a band with his younger brother Alex Van Halen who were known as the Broken Combs in 1964 at Hamilton Elementary School in Pasadena CA and then later renamed themselves as Van Halen in 1974 and became one of the greatest Hard Rock Bands of all time... They were known for their greatest hit song of all time: "Jump"... And I also talked about what Van Halen did outside of the Van Halen band, in fact, 2 years before writing the song "Jump", he did one of the greatest guitar solos on Michael Jackson's song: "Beat It" from the Thriller album in 1982... They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007... Unfortunately, Eddie Van Halen, had died today at the age of 65 due to Throat Cancer, the same illness that took the life of George Harrison on November 29, 2001... I opened up the podcast, with the victory over Sycho Sid at WrestleMania 13 and then talked about his match at SummerSlam 97 against Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and Shawn Michaels accidentally hit Undertaker with a steel chair costing him the WWE championship and began a feud with HBK which lead to the first ever Hell In A Cell at Badd Blood with the debut of Kane and immediately began a feud with Kane that lead to their encounter at WrestleMania 14 and then in the Inferno Match at IYH Unforgiven. Then had the greatest Hell In A Cell Match vs Mankind at King of the Ring 98 and had a great match against Stone Cold Steve Austin at SummerSlam 98 for the WWE Championship then Undertaker turned Heel and became the Ministry of Darkness...
