In order for Him to reveal Himself to you He allows us to go through seasons of needing Him. 2. He desires to make us familiar with strong emotions. Your emotions are not stronger than your God. If you have had a hard time believing God does protect you because you feel He didn't - have you mourned that hard/bad time before God??
