For our main topic this week, Tommy and DL are flat circle-jerking about "True Detective: Night Country", the fourth season of the illustrious and infamous crime drama. The lads discuss whether the legacy set by Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson is met by Jodie Foster and the dark, icy tundra of Alaska. Is this a whodunnit with a twist? How many stories can a director cram into six episodes? And what the $&%! is a corpsicle? Listen in this week to find out!

Are you a True Detective like Jodie Foster? Let us know by messaging [email protected] or hitting us up on socials, and we'll give you a shout-out on the pod!

For our Main Topic this week we close out the trilogy of the rebootuated POTA franchise with the 2017 War for the Planet of the Apes! If it was confusing what RISE came before DAWN, then the WAR at least seems in the right place. Continuing our 'movies we should have seen but haven't' anthology, we somehow missed this one! Biblical allegories and confusing characterization, will this live up to what came before... you don't want to miss this one!

For our Main Topic this week we're continuing our deepdive of the rebootuated POTA franchise with the 2014 Dawn of the Planet of the Apes! We're not sure why RISE came before DAWN... they must be farming apes, however this continues to fit nicely into our 'movies we should have seen but haven't' anthology. Somehow even better special effects juxtapose with significantly less interesting humans... this is going to be a fun one!

This week we're revisiting the rebootuation of a classic franchise, with the 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes! This also fits nicely into our 'movies we should have seen but haven't' anthology. Spectacular special effects clash with a post-release cancelled James Franco.. does it still live up to the reputation?

This week we're revisiting a classic with Mr McClain and Herr Guber in Die Hard (1988)! A must-watch in every sense, we unpack the complex themes told through exceptional cinematography, the moment Alan Rickman (RIP) decided to never work with the director again, and why Tommy watches this film EVERY SINGLE YEAR! We also decide, once and for all, if Die Hard is a Christmas Movie or not.
