What does this mean for us in the church today? And what does it take in order for anything to get done for the Lord?

This Psalm celebrates Jehovah's victory in delivering Jerusalem from the Assyrians. And as Pastor Mat points out, we can rejoice that the Lord cares for us just like He cared for the people of Israel in the Psalmist's day. It also foreshadows the Church waiting for something very special, and emphasizes the one thing that really matters for us to leave to our children.
